Privacy notice
Privacy notice for the private beta
Last updated April 25, 2026. This notice explains how Cevune handles data in the current private beta. It is intentionally modest: Cevune is not a compliance-certified storage product, and this notice does not promise protections the beta does not yet provide.
What Cevune stores
Cevune stores the information needed to run your account and the beta. This can include account details, captured text, uploaded audio, transcripts, titles, summaries, linked context, reviews, next steps, resurfaced items, onboarding answers, beta access records, feedback, support requests, billing state, and basic service logs.
How the app uses that data
Cevune uses this data to save your captures, help you find them later, create summaries, connect related context, prepare reviews and resurfacing when those features are enabled, manage plan and beta access, respond to support needs, and keep the private beta operating safely.
Audio and AI processing
Voice uploads are stored privately and are not intended to be publicly accessible. When AI features are enabled, Cevune may send the text or audio needed for transcription, summaries, reviews, or resurfacing to trusted AI processing services, currently OpenAI. Some beta testing environments may use non-live processing, in which case content is not sent to an AI service for those test outputs.
Access controls and limits
Your account data is kept separate from other users' accounts. Beta administration and diagnostic access is limited to approved team members who need it to operate or support the service. Cevune is still an early beta, so you should not treat it as certified or compliance-grade storage.
Retention, deletion, and closure
You can delete individual entries, memories, and actions inside the app today. Account closure is handled through a request in settings. Submitting that request does not instantly erase the account, and the beta team may need time to complete the closure. Some minimal billing, support, security, or abuse prevention records may remain when they are needed to operate the service responsibly.
Questions or concerns
Use the support page or email support if you need clarification, want to report a trust concern, or want to request account closure.
